HOW TO APPLY SCHOLARSHIP FOR FIRST YEAR

Attention : All inmates of the Students’ Home
Dear Students,

With some help from a philanthropic organization, it is planned to provide scholarships for 400 inmates of the students’ home for the academic year 2015-16.

Students will be selected subject to their satisfying certain conditions like campus discipline, attendance, academics, adhering to hostel rules, etc. The scholarship will provide reimbursement of mess fees (food expenses) paid by the student during the academic year. Following are the eligibility norms for availing the scholarship:

1)      Minimum class room attendance of 90% throughout the academic year (till March 15, 2016)
2)      No history of indiscipline in the campus
3)      No history of overstay or leaving the hostel without prior permission
4)      Minimum CGPA of 7.5%
5)      No history of arrears
6)      All fees must have been paid promptly without fine

Eligible students are advised to submit the scholarship request form (proforma to be downloaded at www.sastra.edu). The request will be processed and the Management can exercise its discretion to award this scholarship and to amend, change or introduce new eligibility criteria.

The scholarship request must be submitted before March 28, 2016 to the respective School Dean.
